Soybean Meal
Soybean meal is a feed type obtained from soybeans. Soybeans are crushed into thin pieces. It is a vegetable-based feed that is extracted after being separated from its fat and has very high values of protein. In addition, the soybean meal contains a high proportion of amino acids in its contents, and thus helps support other concentrated feeds by mixing with other feeds. Soy products are a very preferred protein source for chicken farming and other poultry breeding. But the most commonly used version of this material is the one with low fat and high protein using chemicals.
The soybean meal, on the other hand, is a highly digestible product used to stabilize the rations of animals, and to complement the amino acid deficiencies. In the world’s feed industries, it is a feed commodity commonly traded because it is a major source of protein.
