Minister Bekir Pakdemirli Visits Özova Group – 24.05.2021 Hatay Vatan

Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Bekir Pakdemirli, who was on a series of visits to Hatay, attended the wheat harvest in the Amik Plain. He also visited Murat İçcan, Chairman of the Özova Group, which operates in Kırıkhan.

Following the wheat harvest, Pakdemirli went to the TMO (Turkish Grain Board) product purchasing center, where he inspected and spoke with producers. He then inspected the Dam Reinforcement facility in the Adalar neighborhood and, on his return, visited the Özova Group Licensed Warehousing facilities.

“Thanks to the correct work we have done, for the first time in Turkey, there has been an increase, not a decrease, in planted area this year.” Minister of Agriculture Bekir Pakdemirli, accompanied by Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Ayşe Ayşin Işıkgece, Hatay Deputies Hüseyin Yayman, Sabahat Özgürsoy Çelik, Hacı Bayram Türkoğlu, Hüseyin Şanverdi, Abdulkadir Özel, and Hatay Governor Rahmi Doğan, Chamber of Agriculture President Mehmet Çelik, TMO General Manager Ahmet Güldal, and a delegation of department heads, along with Fatih Kaya, Çagatas Maraş, Gökhan Gürbüz, TMO İskenderun Branch Manager Suat Ünlü, and Deputy Branch Managers Yunus Sertoğullardan and Sinan Yan, visited Özova Group Chairman Murat İçcan. They inspected Özova Group’s licensed warehouse and the USK (Underground Transport and Infrastructure) and wished him a prosperous and productive season.

Özova Group Chairman Murat İçcan expressed his satisfaction with the visit, thanked Minister Pakdemirli, and presented him with a plaque.
