Hatay’s Mark on the Local and Regional Television Association’s Best of 2014 Awards Ceremony – 31.05.2015 Hatay Vatan

The “Best of 2014” awards, organized by the Local and Regional Television Association, were presented at a ceremony held at the Istanbul WOW Hotel & Convention Center. Celebrities flocked to the event, and awards were presented in numerous categories.

Hatay dominated the awards ceremony, which was attended by numerous celebrities from Turkey. The Hatay Relief Association (HAYAD), headquartered in Kırıkhan and providing aid to Syrians in Hatay, received the NGO of the Year award. Former Hatay Governor M. Celalettin received the Lekesiz Human Respect Award. Kırıkhan Mayor Ayhan Yavuz received the Social Responsibility Award for hosting Syrians equal to the population of Kırıkhan and for his successful service. Tuzla Mayor Dr. Şadi Yazıcı received the Social Responsibility Award for creating a relief bridge from Istanbul for the Hayad Association and sending 48 trucks of aid to Hatay.
