The first wheat harvest of the year started in the Amik Plain in Hatay with prayers. A company operating in Hatay opened the season by buying the first wheat grown in the region at a symbolic price. Stating that they meet all kinds of demands of the farmers with agriculture, company official Mr. Murat İçcan also said, "We are trying to do whatever we can for the development of our country's agriculture"
