Ozova Group, which is one of the biggest companies in the region in the agricultural sector, became the first company in Turkey to complete the warehouses in accordance with the tender specifications for licensed warehouses to be built by the private sector with the long-term lease method. The Ministry of Agriculture, which aims to build warehouses with a capacity of 4.2 million tons at 90 points throughout the country, continues its activities in the construction of warehouses where needed. Within the framework of the project, an event was held at TMO Güvercinlik facilities due to the 80th anniversary of the TMO, which aims to activate 2.5 million tons of it in 2018 and the whole of it by the end of 2019. Mr. Murat Iccan, Chairman of Ozova Group, one of the strongest agricultural companies in the region, was also invited to the event. Within the framework of the celebration, Platinyum Tarım Urunleri Licensed Warehousing A.Ş, affiliated with Ozova Group, became the first to complete the warehouse tender in accordance with the tender specifications for the private sector to have licensed warehouses built with the long-term lease method. Accepting this as a great success, the Ministry of Agriculture Mr. Ahmet Eşref Fakıbaba, gave a plaque to Mr. Murat İçcan. The said plaque proved that the company is the epitome of reliability and pride both in Turkey and in the region. It was stated that the only licensed warehouse activity in the region was carried out by Ozova, and the following information was conveyed: “If our farmers deliver their products to Grain Tarım Ürünleri Licensed Warehousing A.Ş, which is a company within the body of Ozova Group, the warehouse rental fee will be covered by the Ministry of Agriculture this year.
