Mr. Murat İçcan became the Honorary Consul of Kazakhstan - 27.11.2013 İskenderun Haber

An event to promote the country was held in Hatay by the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Ankara. Ambassador Mr. Canseyit Tüymebayev, Hatay Deputy Governor Mr. Kadim Doğan, Antakya Mayor Assoc. Dr. Lütfü Savaş and Özova Group Chairman of the Board of Directors Mr. Murat İçcan attended the event. After visiting the exhibition, a slide show presentation introducing Kazakhstan was made. Oova Group President Mr. Murat İçcan, in his speech here, stated that Turkey and Kazakhstan have a common history and culture, and that they do joint business in many fields, and that these relations are strengthened with new investments. Mr. Canseyit Tüymebayev, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Ankara, noted that Turkish businessmen have made investments in their country in many fields, and that visa requirements are not required for entry to the country. Drawing attention to the relations between the two countries, Ambassador Tüymebayev said that he offered businessman Mr. Murat İçcan the duty of Honorary Consulate in Hatay. Explaining that Mr. İçcan accepted this, Mr. Tüymebayev said, "Thus, Hatay has become even closer to Kazakhstan, and soon there will be a Kazakhstan Honorary Consulate in Hatay and we will open it together."
